Above is a nymph fly.Nymph flies resemble insects, mostly young insects living underwater. Most Nymph flies have weights to sink them to the bottom like normal nymphs.
This is a dry fly. Dry flies mostly resemble flies floating on the top of the water but they sometimes resemble frogs, snakes, and other things, but all of them float.
This is a streamer fly. Streamer flies mostly don't resemble flies but rather an injured fish. Streamers mostly only sink.
This is a wet fly. Wet flies sink so they resemble drowned insects or larvae swimming to the surface.
